About Us

Hope Outreach Help Center is a 501 © (3) non-profit organization designed to help those in North Marion County who are in need of basic life services. We offer food and clothing, and we make referrals to other county agencies as we are a member of the Continuum of Care in Marion County Florida.

Hope Outreach began in 2007 and at that time offered shelter as well as basic services to women and children. Our current vision is to create an environment where everyone can feel comfortable to share their various and unique requirements, and where they can receive the help and healing they need. We desire to meet not only their material and physical needs, but also their spiritual and emotional needs.

About The Director

Rose Vidal is a long-time North Marion County resident, familiar with the local community, its needs, and the lack of resources available. Roses heart is particularly tender towards children and the elderly. "Faith, hope, and love; the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13

Hope community Outreach (formerly S.O.S Community Outreach, Christ's S.O.S. Outreach) was started in 2004 by Rose Vidal. Had to have another name change because it was already taken on the state’s website.

So we incorporated under Hope Outreach Help Center, which is what we have always been to the people anyway.

Outreach opened it’s door in 2007 and we were a shelter for women and children and we also provided free food and clothing to those in need in our community.

Hope Outreach will bring new Hope and bring beneficial change to this community. That is how Hope Outreach Help Center was started, to bring hope to those who have no hope and need a little help to get by.

I am working hard to bring services to our area. North Marion County has many needs, from police presence to a simple laundry mat. I am hoping that many will step up and join me in bringing these changes to the area.

A lot is missing here in North Marion County especially for the kids, teens and seniors. You can't find here what the Ocala area has for their citizens. Please keep us in your prayers and come by and see us, we enjoy having volunteers with a heart to help others.
